Emergency teams carry away bodies from damaged buildings in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. Israel's offensive in the Palestinian territory -- triggered by Hamas militants' bloody October 7 attacks that Israel says left about 1,200 people dead -- has killed more than 11,000 people, mostly civilians and many of them children, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.
