The new model gives the brand an even stronger presence in the European C segment and the widest range of SUVs across all segments. In addition, the Corolla family is now complete: With the new Corolla Cross, the classic hatchback model and the Touring Sports estate variant, there really is “a Corolla for everyone”. Sales in Germany will start on November 25, 2022 at prices from 38,600 euros. The 2.0-liter hybrid version with front or all-wheel drive is available at market launch, while the 1.8-liter hybrid, which is always driven by the front wheels, will be available from the second quarter of 2023.The Toyota Corolla Cross is based on the proven GA-C platform (Global Architecture) and offers all the features that have made the Corolla the best-selling car model in the world: Toyota has sold more than 50 million units in 55 years and twelve model generations . With the new Corolla Cross, the brand intends to further expand its presence in the highly competitive European C segment. The new Toyota Yaris Cross is celebrating a tailor-made debut: just a few weeks after its market launch in Germany, the small city SUV has already sold more than 5,000 units in this country.The newest member of the family offers more ground clearance and a higher seating position compared to the Yaris, but thanks to the successful GA-B platform it also offers high body rigidity, a low center of gravity and a balanced chassis.
