Landslide in Savoie: blasting the cliff blocking the SNCF line

The Savoie department has blown up part of the La Praz cliff. The operation follows a major rockfall at the end of August over the A43 motorway in the Maurienne Valley, which blocked the SNCF's line to Italy. IMAGES
