French presidential debate: Attacks and insults but little policy

IN THE FRENCH PAPERS - Thursday, May 4: A presidential debate that was more like a boxing match...the French papers react to the vicious final debate between Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen. Most papers agree that Macron was the most convincing even though the debate didn't shed much light on policy. Finally, the website l'Obs interviews François Hollande as he prepares to leave the Elysée palace.
