Thai Women Have Started Wearing Masks During 'Intimate' Check-Ups

Ever been embarrassed about discussing your intimate areas with a doctor? Going to gynecologist is a dreadful thought for many women but regular check-ups can make the difference between timely treatment and long term problems. One initiative in Thailand aims to encourage women to get regular check-ups by inviting them to wear masks during pap smear tests in to alleviate awkwardness between shy patients and their doctors.
