Study Shows Women Pay More for Personal Care Products Than Men

Description

Recent studies have revealed that women have pay more for personal care products than men do. For example, women suffering from hairloss pay 40 percent more for over-the-country hair growth products that men do. It showed that on average women pay $11.27 for hair regrowth products an men pay only $8.05. Neil Sadick, a New York City — based dermatologist, stated, “There is no good rationale as to why 2 percent versus 5 percent minoxidil products should be comparably priced… One would think it is either a marketing decision made by the pharmaceutical company, or a gender-related strategic decision.”
