The car was launched in its natural habitat – the driveway of a family home in Stockholm – highlighting Volvo Cars' pedigree in family estates and pinpointing how the V60's versatile design caters to the diverse needs and realities of modern family life. Few car makers can match Volvo Cars' history and credibility in making well-designed, practical and versatile estate cars. The new V60 shares Volvo Cars' Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform with the award-winning new XC60 and three top-of-the-line 90 series cars, which have been the collective force behind the company's record-breaking global sales performance in recent years. The SPA-based V60 introduces a new standard to the mid-size premium estate segment with a luxurious interior, increased levels of space, advanced connectivity, and Volvo Cars' latest driver-support systems and other safety technology.
The wait is almost over for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Some are speculating that the phone could come with Samsung's best smartphone camera ever. Dutch site Galaxy Club reports the camera includes advanced features like a 3 time optical zoom and an improved HDR mode. It also says the camera will have a refocus mode and improved low-light performance. While Samsung has yet to verify, similar rumors seem to confirm the technology. The phone is set to debut August 23rd.

Chinese high-tech firm Protruly showcased their Darling VR Smartphone at the China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen on Thursday. Using a special algorithm, the Darling VR smartphone can take 360 degree panorama videos and photos. The Darling VR smartphone features the world's first 360-degree live virtual reality streaming camera for smartphones. Protruly's VR smartphone combines a 5.5" FHD retina display with 1080p resolution, powered by a Deca Core CPU running at 2.5GHz speed, with a powerful Mali-T880 GPU graphic processor. The standard version comes with a price tag of $600, but Protruly is also selling a special, limited edition diamond and gold-encrusted version, costing $1,300. More than 3,000 exhibitors from around the world are exhibiting their latest products at the 2016 edition of the CHTF, with around 500,000 visitors expected. The exhibition will run until November 21.
