The case against Cheer star Jerry Harris just got a lot worse. Newser reports that new seven-count indictment accuses Harris, 21, of incidents involving four underage youths. The indictment includes one in which he allegedly went from Texas to Florida in 2019 with the goal of having sex with a 15-year-old. NBC News notes that he was hit with four counts of using, persuading, inducing, and enticing a minor for sex. In September, the Netflix he was charged with producing child pornography.
Parts of 26-year-old Brandy Odom's dismembered body were found in a Brooklyn park over two years ago. Now, Newser reports prosecutors now have a theory in the notorious and grisly unsolved murder. Last week, Odom's roommates—Cory Martin, 33, and Adelle Anderson, 32—were charged with federal wire fraud and identity theft crime. What's more, prosecutors say text messages and YouTube searches have led them to believe Martin killed Odom. They say further charges may come. Martin bought a reciprocating saw from Home Depot, then performed YouTube searches on 'how to insert blade for reciprocating saw.' Prosecutors believe Martin killed Odom so that he and Anderson could collect on two life insurance payouts, totaling $200,000.
The five suspects in the 2014 murder case of national football captain and goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa appear in court in Boksburg near Johannesburg. The accused are charged with murder, attempted murder and robbery. Meyiwa was gunned down at the home of his pop-star girlfriend Kelly Khumalo, southeast of Johannesburg during the evening of October 26, 2014. IMAGES
