"Wonder Woman 1984" earned $16.7 million at the US box office over the weekend. Business Insider reports that's the biggest opening weekend since the coronavirus pandemic began. The pre-pandemic "Wonder Woman" from 2017 grossed $103 million in the US in its debut. "Wonder Woman 1984" debuted on HBO Max and will be available for 31 days before leaving the service for an exclusive theatrical run.
'John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum' has knocked 'Avengers: Endgame' off the top of the box office rankings with an opening weekend of $57 million in the US alone.
