Hundreds of people gather in the South African town of Cape Town for a pro-Palestinian march, amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Chanting slogans and carrying flags, banners and signs, the crowd moved through the streets. The war started after Hamas's October 7 attack on southern Israel resulted in the deaths of 1,170 people, mostly civilians, according to an AFP tally of Israeli official figures. Images of several hundred demonstrators marching in Paris to denounce the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip almost six months after the start of the war.
