Tibetan protesters gather in New Delhi to protest against the Beijing Winter Olympics, which are due to open on Friday night. Business Insider reports that Sam's Club will hire 2,000 permanent workers to staff its fulfillment and distribution centers. The Walmart-owned members-only retailer has also begun launching holiday deals. Sam's Club is embarking on an e-commerce hiring spree and launching early deals ahead of the upcoming holiday season. Around 100 Sam's Club locations will now be taking on a greater role in completing e-commerce orders under the chain's new "Ship from Club" program. The members-only retailer's first savings event began on October 4.
