Oil has fallen back from one-year highs, knocked by concern that a production cut by the world's largest exporters might not be enough to erode a two-year old global surplus of unwanted crude oil. Hayley Platt reports

Former OPEC president Diezani Alison-Madueke leaves a London court after appearing over bribery charges relating to her time as Nigeria's oil minister. The UK's National Crime Agency says Alison-Madueke allegedly benefitted from at least £100,000 in cash, chauffeur-driven cars, flights and luxury holidays accepted as rewards "for awarding multi-million pound contracts". The 63-year-old was arrested in October 2015, shortly after which her family's lawyer said she would strongly contest the allegations. IMAGES
