A Canadian farm opened its doors to visitors who want to get fit by getting their groove on with some unlikely dance partners... a herd of alpacas! The 313 Farm in Anola, Manitoba offers a variety of dance and fitness classes ranging from hip-hop to Pilates, all alongside the estate's woolly residents. Each class lasts about 45 minutes and is followed up by a meet, greet, and bleat in the company of the farm's camelid companions.
Scores of South Koreans came out to a park in the capital Seoul to participate in one of the most grueling and challenging competitions known to man. Participants in the fourth annual Space Out competition sat down and, well, did nothing. Space out contestants literally competed against each other to see who could stare out into space and zone out the best. Participants are required to sit and do absolutely nothing for 90 minutes. Artist WoopsYang started the competition in 2014 to highlight the benefits of taking a break from the fast pace of modern life. Nothing means nothing, so participants can fall out of the competition for using phones, talking, sleeping, or even just moving slightly. Their heartrates are also measured to determine who is truly chilling out. This year local musician Shin Hyo-Seob won the gold for being the most spaced out, having the steadiest heartbeat of the last remaining competitors. Breaking news from Brazil is stranger than fiction. Discovered near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this burnt out car was the scene of a grizzly murder. After searching the vehicle, police discovered the burned human remains of the Greek Ambassador to Brazil Kyriakos Amiridis, who disappeared on December 26, inside the vehicle. Forensics investigators revealed that the diplomat had been killed prior to being burned. Brazilian authorities detained Francoise Oliveira, the wife of the Greek ambassador, as well as her police officer lover and his cousin on suspicion of murdering the former diplomat. Local police confirmed that the officer was romantically engaged with the ambassador's wife and that the suspect had later confessed to killing Mr. Kyriakos Amiridis. Blood stains were found on the sofa in the ambassdor's house in Nova Iguacu, about 25 miles outside of Rio de Janeiro. The former officer had allegedly murdered Amiridis under the instruction from the diplomat's wife and then the officer's cousin assisted with the removal of the body. The three suspects are being held in a prison in Rio de Janeiro on a judicial order for 30 days, as police continue to investigate.
Thousands of mourners stood alongside the streets of Bangkok for the funeral procession of the late King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej on Friday, who was the world's longest reigning monarch, as his body was transferred from the hospital to the Grand Palace. Thousands of Thai citizens, dressed in black to show their respect, watched the funeral procession drive by. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha announced on Thursday that King Bhumibol Adulyadej died 88 in Bangkok's Siriraj Hospital at the age of 88 years old. Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital to pray for the king in the days leading up to his death after news of his deteriorating health became public. Many in the crowd broke down in tears once the announcement of his death was made. Prime Minister Chan-ocha informed the Thai people that the king's successor would be Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn and announced that Thailand would hold a one-year period of mourning, reducing entertainment-related events and activities for one month.. The Crown Prince is the only son of King Bhumidol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit.
