During a press briefing in Washington DC, on Thursday, US President Barack Obama discussed the positive progress being made against the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).
At a White House event to celebrate the Eid holiday that marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, President Obama says that it is a “difficult time” for Muslim Americans, and says the United States must work with Muslims to defeat terrorism. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
