A CSX train carrying North Dakota crude oil to Yorktown, Virginia derailed on Monday at 1:20 p.m., prompting the evacuation of two nearby towns.Fayette County 911 Coordinator James Bennett told Reuters that the 109-car train derailed at 1:20 p.m. EST about 33 miles (54 km) southeast of Charleston, the state capital.
A train operated by CSX Corp derailed in West Virginia on Monday afternoon, setting at least two carriages on fire and a nearby house on fire.
Scene after at least two people were killed during an Israeli military operation in the West Bank city of Jenin, according to the Palestinian health ministry, as fighting there continues alongside ongoing battles in Gaza.
