Panama, Dec 9 (EFE / EPA) .- Latin America needs to create a "good" business environment to attract Chinese investments in multiple sectors, including agribusiness, which can make a leap driven by strategic partnerships between small businesses from both regions. (CAMERA: Carlos Lemos)IMAGES: FOOTAGE AND SOUNDBITES BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE VACAMONTE LOGISTIC PARK OF PANAMA, JORGE GARCÍA ICAZA. 1. "A relationship of equals with the United States in which they respect our positions and we respect their positions, and also with China. I know that there is also a political issue to deal with. On the panel, we talk a little about how to face these challenges, and the issue of education seemed important to us. I think that China can get closer to Latin America, either through scholarships or through educational entities, in Panama, we have a place called the City of Knowledge, where there is high-level education, scientific research, to the extent that China could set up a University in Panama to transfer technology and Asian or Chinese knowledge to Latin America. 2."That Chinese entrepreneurs want to invest in Latin America, the region, want to invest, for example, in meat, chicken, pork processing plants; that they can invest in value-added plants for other products that China is needing so that It makes it easier for the Panamanian businessman to want to invest with that Chinese businessman because he has somehow secured the Chinese market. It is difficult to make large investments in infrastructure in Latin America and then go out to compete in that market in China. Then that join venture that could be done between Chinese and Latin American businessmen is very important "
Residents of the Chinese city of Hefei now have their very own traveling convenience store, selling everything from candy to veggies. Swedish start-up Wheelys developed the Moby Mart in cooperation with Hefei University and retail company Himalafy. Incredibly, the Moby Mart store operates 24/7 and all without any humans manning the store. Moby Mart offers basic groceries, such as milk, bread, fruit and coffee, which are only available to customers which have downloaded the Moby Mart app. Customers connect their card to the app so that Moby Mart technolgy can scan their purchase and charge them automatically. The app even allows customers to call the store to their location. Could this be the future of grocery shopping?
