German auto supplier Bosch has been accused of conspiring with Volkswagen to evade diesel emissions standards in at least 11 million vehicles worldwide. As Ivor Bennett reports, the class action lawsuit follows a huge fall in VW sales in the U.S.
VW says it's to curb its 2016 spending plans in order to deal with the costs of emissions fixing. And in the US, regulators are are reportedly investigating German auto supplier Bosch over its role in the scandal. Kirsty Basset reports.
Volkswagen brand sales fell 5.3 percent in October, the first full month after Europe's biggest carmaker was found cheating diesel emissions tests in the United States. David Pollard reports.
Volkswagen's supervisory board holds a closed-door, pre-scheduled meeting. As Ivor Bennett reports, it comes one day after reports that several VW engineers had admitted manipulating carbon dioxide emissions data because goals set by former Chief Executive Martin Winterkorn were difficult to achieve.
