The European Parliament votes overwhelmingly to approve the Brexit deal with London, clearing the final hurdle for Britain's departure from the EU. The leader of Britain's pro-EU Liberal Democrats, Jo Swinson, says early election results and exit polls, which indicate a big win for the ruling Conservative party, will bring "dread and dismay".
