Now that comic book movies have almost taken over mainstream media both DC Films and Marvel Studios have a stacked year ahead. DC Films, now spearheaded by Geoff Johns, is releasing 3 films in 2017 including Lego Batman, Wonder Woman, and Justice League. Marvel Studios, still owned by Disney, is also releasing 3 films in 2017 with Gaurdians of the Galaxy Vol.2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnarok.
