Volunteer rescuers roamed flooded streets of Houston on Sunday, searching for trapped and stranded people after large-scale floods in the wake of Tropical Storm Harvey. Rescuers used several different types of boats, including traditional rowboats and airboats powered by huge fans. Due to the lack of police and fire department boats, some civilians used their personal boats to rescue fellow residents to help them leave the Kingwood neighbourhood, which is reportedly one of the most affected neighbourhoods in the area.
