Description

This is the view from Rooftop Reds, the world's first commercial rooftop vineyard, which opened for the press from its Brooklyn office on Thursday. One bottle of the wine is expected to cost around $150, and will be sold exclusively on the vineyard's wine tasting room. Rooftop Reds worked with Finger Lakes industry leaders and scholars from Cornell University to develop a unique planter system for the 14,800 square foot rooftop near the Brooklyn Navy yard.
