Dozens of Athens residents escape their homes as wildfires fanned by strong winds burn through woodland around the Greek capital. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
People look on as firefighting helicopters work to contain the McDougall Creek wildfire in West Kelowna, now blanketed in a smoky haze. Across British Columbia, some 30,000 people have been ordered to evacuate while 36,000 others have been told to prepare to leave if necessary. IMAGES
