Voters in Wahington DC went to the polls and weighed in on DC Initiative 81. DC 81 lowers the enforcement priority for cultivation, purchasing, distributing, or possessing psychedelic plants and fungi. These plants and fungus which can also be hallucinogenics, are known as "entheogens". The initiative also seeks to cease the prosecution of activities related to entheogenic plants and fungi. According to Business Insider, the initiative includes protections for use of plants like "magic mushrooms". No poll results are in at this time.
