Medecins Sans Frontieres wants an explanation after an air strike, probably carried out by U.S.-led forces, kills at least 19 patients and staff at a hospital run by the aid group in the northern city of Kunduz. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
Police and crime scene investigators attend the scene in east London after a sword-wielding man wielding stabbed a 14-year-old boy, who died in hospital. Two police and two other people were also stabbed in the street attack in the Hainault district, with the man using what appeared to be a Samurai-type sword shortly before 7:00 am (0600 GMT). IMAGES
One of the suspects in the deadly Moscow concert hall attack appear in a Russian court to face terrorism charges. The TASS news agency cited Moscow's Basmanny District Court court as saying that two of the suspects had been charged with participating in a terrorist attack.
