A large sinkhole opened up near Queensland’s Rainbow Beach, terrifying campers along Inskip Point on Saturday.
A bus and a car were swallowed into a huge sinkhole after a portion of the street caved in at on Sunday in the Eastern Indian city of Chennai. Several bus passengers suffered from minor injuries in the incident. The bus driver urged passengers to leave the vehicle as the bus sank into the crater along with a nearby Honda. Emergency services and police rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area. The cause seems to be linked to a tunnel boring machine operating underneath the road in close proximity to where the sinkhole appeared.
