Netflix CEO says China Entry Is Unlikely

Description

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said the chances of the company "entering the Chinese market 'doesn't look good.'" Hastings made the announcement on Friday at the New Yorker TechFest. Netflix needs to obtain a government license in order to operate in China, a country which has "stringent regulations and censorship challenges." In January Netflix launched in more than 130 markets worldwide.
