En este nuevo vídeo Ang Lee nos habla de su película más ambiciosa y preciosista hasta la fecha, La Vida de Pi (estreno 30 de noviembre). La Vida de Pi supone la primera incursión de Lee en la tecnología tridimensional, que el cineasta había previsto para esta historia mucho antes de que "Avatar" triunfara en las salas. Lee utiliza esta técnica para darle una mayor envergadura al filme, así como para que el público se sumerja físicamente en el viaje de Pi y se involucre emocionalmente en la historia. "Quería que la experiencia de la película fuera tan única como la del libro de Yann Martel", dice Lee, "y eso requería realizar el filme en otra dimensión. El 3D es un nuevo lenguaje cinematográfico, y en La Vida de Pi sirve para sumergir al espectador tanto en el estado emocional de los personajes como, a nivel épico, en la aventura".
