Koalas diminish off east coast of Australia: Population falls as urban growth rises

Description

Though Australia may be famous for its cuddly koalas, the outlook for their population on the country's east coast is dire. Habitat loss, dog attacks, climate change, car strikes and disease are all taking their toll. Fortunately one koala hospital is doing all it can.
