Phnom Penh, Sep 2 (EFE/EPA).- Kaing Guek Eav, or Duch, died Wednesday aged 77 in Cambodia, where in 2010 he became the first person convicted of crimes during the Khmer Rouge rule tried in an international court.Duch, the head of the Pol Pot regime's S-21 security prison, passed away at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh at 12:52 p.m. (17.52 GMT Tuesday) while serving a life sentence for crimes against humanity.
