A bomb attack on a Shiite mosque in southern Pakistan has killed 35 and injured dozens in the worst sectarian attack in the country in months.
US Central Command commander General Kenneth McKenzie admits the United States made a "mistake" when it launched a drone strike against suspected Islamic State militants in the Afghan capital Kabul on August 29, confirming that it killed 10 civilians instead. "The strike was a tragic mistake," McKenzie tells reporters at a Pentagon briefing after an investigation. SOUNDBITE
