In what police are calling a “terrorist incident”, a knife-wielding man attacked and injured three people at a London metro Station on December 5, before being brought down and apprehended, the BBC reports.
Spain has opened a terror probe after a man wielding a bladed weapon stormed a church in the southern town of Algeciras, killing one and wounding several others, legal sources told AFP. Prosecutors say the probe will be led by a judge from the Audiencia Nacional, Spain's top criminal court. IMAGES
Tape cordons off a crime scene with officers on patrol at the scene of the incident after two police officers got stabbed in Leicester Square in London. The assailant was tasered and arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and assaulting an emergency worker, the Metropolitan Police said.
