A Syrian rescue service operating in rebel-held territory says a helicopter dropped containers of toxic gas overnight on a town close to where a Russian military helicopter was shot down hours earlier. Mana Rabiee reports.

The pilots of a downed Russian jet were shot at by Syrian rebels as they parachuted into Syrian territory on Tuesday. One died while he was still in the air, but the other is alive after being rescued by Russian forces.
