The Olympic Table Tennis competition will see 172 competitors (86 men and 86 women) battle it out in four events: men’s singles, women’s singles and men’s and women’s teams. Power, skill and lightning-quick reflexes are required to win at table tennis, which is based on the same principles as its tableless namesake.
