Citizens of Charlotte continued to take to the streets in response to the fatal police shooting of unarmed African American Keith Scott on Tuesday after a week of protests have rocked the city after the release of full police dash-cam and body-cam footage of Lamont’s death. A march and a candlelight vigil were held to honour the deceased 43-year-old, as well as protester Justin Carr, who was shot dead during demonstrations against Scotts’ killing in unconfirmed circumstances.
