Never Lose Your Dog Again with New Pet Tracking Device

If you've ever had to post signs with your pup's picture across your neighborhood, one new and affordable device may be able to help ease your worries about your pet. Moscow-based start-up Mishiko presented its latest product - a pet tracker and activity monitor called the 'Mishiko Collar' . It's set to launch soon and will be available to customers for about $190.

  • Ruta the dog learns to walk after frostbite amputation

    Malamute dog Ruta had all her paws amputated due to severe frostbite last winter and has now been nursed to health in a Novosibirsk veterinary clinic. The dog was found badly wounded with frostbitten paws at the beginning of February near the town of Mirny in Yakutia. Volunteers raised about 160,000 roubles (€2,100 euro, $2,400) to send her to be operated in Novosibirsk and to cover the costs of her treatment. She's now been provided with special socks and can walk again.

    11-year old Arseniy from Rostov-on-Don spent his summer holiday, making money for a stray dog he found on the street. His parents allowed him to adopt the canine on the condition that he would provide for it. As the summer was hot, Arseniy decided to make a lemonade and sell it in front of the local supermarket.
