Children In U.S. Virgin Islands Can't Go To Schools Left In Tatters By Hurricanes

Description

Roughly 13,000 public school students in the U.S. Virgin Islands still haven't been able to start their school year. According to BuzzFeed, the two hurricanes that ripped through the region left their world in shreds. Thousands of people have evacuated the US territory — whose residents are US citizens — in the past month. Many will return, but some parents are wondering whether to remain or head to the United States for a more stable environment.
