Chinese Scientists Breed One of the Planet's Rarest Snakes

This beautiful emerald green slithering reptile is a horizontal spot Jin snake, one of the rarest species of snakes in the world. Only 30 of living members have been found in the last 100 years. Not only have Chinese researchers at the Chengdu Institute of biology managed to capture two alive, they have also become the first to successfully breed a new generation of horizontal spot jin.
