Iran Reportedly Open To Ballistic Missile Programme Talks

Description

Iran has suggested to six world powers that it may be open to talks about its ballistic missile arsenal. The country might be seeking to reduce tension over its disputed programme. Tehran has repeatedly vowed to continue building up what it calls defensive missile capability. Their words came in defiance of Western criticism, with the United States saying the Islamic Republic’s stance violates its 2015 nuclear deal with the powers. U.S. President Donald Trump’s has been threatening to ditch the deal since he entered office.
