France to host 24-hour sheep shearing marathon

Description

With France set to host the World Sheep Shearing Championships for the first time in July 2019, a marathon 24-hour shearing event will be organised a year before in the central commune of Vienne. The announcement was made during a sheep shearing showcase at the Paris Agriculture Show, in which a sheep was shaved in only one minute.
