Russian authorities have arrested five men in the murder of opposition figure Boris Nemtsov, two of which have them been charged, according to Reuters. Police attempted to apprehend a sixth man in Grozny, the Chechen capital, according to Interfax news agency. But when police arrived at an apartment block to arrest him, the suspect threw a grenade at police and then blew himself up with a second grenade.

Russia's opposition held a new protest march in central Moscow despite a ban by authorities, a week before controversial regional elections in the capital.
