Nokia announced a blast from the past for audiences at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday by "re-introducing" an old favourite, the Nokia 3310. The phone was the world’s most popular device in the year 2000. The 2017 model has 22 hours talk-time, which is up to 10 times longer than the original model and up to one month of standby. The retro-styled electronic is priced at €49, or about $52.
Visitors to the 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona were treated to Samsung's unveiling of 2 new smartphones on Sunday, the new Galaxy S9 and S9+, which feaure brighter and bigger screens, highly advanced cameras, stereo speakers and ultra-slow motion video capture. China-based manufacturer OPPO are touting their new R11 as the ultimate selfie phone, providing users with a 20 megapixel camera on both the rear and the front of the phone. The OPPO R11 was unvelied at the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai on Wednesday and raised some eyebrows for the performance specs offered at the price point.
