If you've seen Disney-Pixar's 2017 hit animated film Coco, then you've seen the work of craftsman German Vazquez Rubio, who designed the iconic guitar played by the film's main character, 12-year-old aspiring musician Miguel Rivera. German Vazquez Rubio returned to his hometown of Paracho last weekend after 40 years of absence to a big celebratory welcome and had become a hometown hero for his work.
