Parts of Austria, France and Germany are blanketed in white as they see their first snowfalls of the year.
Trucks of over 7.5 tonnes are at a standstill on the snowy roads of the Côtes-d'Armor in the Brittany region of France. Traffic restrictions have been put in place and hundreds of heavy goods vehicles are already parked in five storage areas. IMAGES
Snow covers North-Western Europe's capital cities such as London, Berlin, Edinburgh and Brussels and even hits the French region of Brittany, as the Darcy storm continues to lower the temperatures in Europe.
Parisians built snowmen and threw snowballs before the nighttime curfew kicked in, whilst Belgians enjoyed up to 10 cm of snowfall.
