Dans sa nouvelle campagne de prévention contre la surconsommation de la viande, Greenpeace a fait appel aux plus grands méchants du cinéma avec cette accroche : "Pour la première fois, les pires méchants du cinéma, Dark Vador, Predator, Alien ou encore le Joker, se retrouvent et unissent leurs forces dans un but ultime : détruire la planète Terre. Mais si le danger venait d'ailleurs ?". Pour l'ONG, le danger vient avant tout de l’élevage qui a un impact considérable sur la planète : il émet plus de 14 % des émissions mondiales de gaz à effet de serre, consomme et pollue l’eau et entraîne une déforestation massive dans certaines régions du globe.
