Fee Increases Proposed For Most National Parks

Description

The National Park Service is considering a plan to increase entrance fees to $70 per vehicle for almost all of the parks in its system. The steep fee could damage local economies that depend on NPS tourism and the demographics of visitors entering the parks could change as well. According to the new proposal, entrance fees would also increase at 17 national parks for other vehicles like motorcycles and bikes. To enter by foot, the price will rise too.
