Le Louvre refuse une sculpture suggestive

Le Louvre a refusé Domestikator, cette sculpture suggestive de l’Atelier Van Lieshout qui devait être exposée dans le jardin des Tuileries, dans le cadre de la Foire internationale de l'art contemporain (FIAC). C'est par un courrier adressé à la FIAC, mardi 26 septembre, le président du Louvre, Jean-Luc Martinez, a motivé son refus en indiquant que « des légendes sur l’Internet circulent et attribuent à cette œuvre une vision trop brutale qui risque d’être mal perçue par notre public traditionnel du jardin des Tuileries » Mais cette oeuvre monumentale ne sera pas soustraite au regard des promeneurs. Elle sera installé à proximité du Centre Pompidou, du 18 au 22 octobre.
