Former Gauteng Health MEC Qedani Mahlangu is testifying at the Life Esidimeni arbitration hearings. Mahlangu was at the helm of the province's health department when 143 mentally ill patients died under state care. She has been named by several officials during testimony as the one who pushed for patients to be moved from their facilites, despite warnings by doctors and NGOs. IMAGES
