La pollution lumineuse augmente (et c'est dangereux )

Notre planète est chaque nuit inondée de lumière artificielle, un phénomène aggravé, d'après une étude publiée ce mercredi dans la revue Science Advance, par la multiplication des lampes à diodes électroluminescentes (LED) plus utilisées car plus économiques. Pour les chercheurs, la pollution lumineuse grandissante affecte la santé humaine, les animaux et les plantes. Chez les humains elle peut même accroître les risques de cancer.

    The EU should seek to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 90 percent by 2040, its climate commissioner says, proposing a new interim target towards making the bloc carbon neutral in 2050.
