Villagers from the Romanian town of Comanesti don bearskin costumes and sway to music once a year in a special ritual dance which helps them prepare for winter by warding off evil spirits and bringing good fortune. The colorful tradition, which originated among the Roma community of gypsies, is usually performed between Christmas and New Year and is certainly a sight to behold
