At speeds between 0 and 250 km/h (155.3 mph), the system keeps the new A7 Sportback at the desired distance to the vehicle ahead. It also uses slight steering interventions to help the driver to stay in the lane and supports him with longitudinal guidance in construction sites by means of the narrowed road assist.
The City assist package includes the newly developed crossing assist. If the mid-range radars, which can look roughly 75 meters (246.1 ft) ahead, detect crossing traffic in front of the car, the system warns the driver and applies the brake, if necessary.
The remote park assist plus assists when parking forwards or in reverse in both bay and kerbside parking spaces by providing ideal steering manoeuvres. The system uses the myAudi app to allow a parking space to be entered or exited by remote control. As an alternative to the myAudi app, remote park assist plus can also be operated from the vehicle interior using the P button in the center console.
The assist package Drive includes a new high-end system, the adaptive cruise assist, which is available in combination with MMI navigation plus, the Audi virtual cockpit, and S tronic.
